Why Sand City Soccer?
We will be following all rules, regulations and standards set by U.S. Youth Soccer.
Doing this will ensure that all players will:
- Play on the correct size field per age level
- Have the appropriate amount of kids on their teams
- Not have overcrowded playing fields
- Equal & Fair playing time
- Ability to get more touches with the ball
- Train & play with the correct size ball
All of this adds up to learning and playing the game the correct way for every age level. Which allows every player to grow their skillset from season to season.
U.S. Soccer Rules, Regs & Standards
Many of our dedicated Board & Advisory members have impressive soccer backgrounds.
Such as:
- Semi-Pro Players
- Former D1 Players
- Former Pro Coaches
- Elite Trainers
- National Champions
These are the collective group that will be architects of our Player & Coaching Development Programs.
These programs will ensure that every player is learning what they are supposed to learn, the way they are supposed to learn it at each age level.
In turn, the Coaches will be taught & given ample tools so that they know what their age level needs to focus on, the best training techniques to teach the age-appropriate skills, how to structure & run practices and be given the proper training equiptment needed to correctly train the players

We take the safety of our players very seriously.
With that in mind we are committed to:

Program Divisions

Little Kickers
Our Little Kickers Intro Clinic is a short, high-energy introduction to soccer designed specifically for 3yr olds.
Sessions are intentionally kept to 25–30 minutes to match attention spans and energy levels, ensuring kids stay engaged, smiling,
and successful.
Through fun games, movement activities, and simple ball play, children develop basic coordination, balance,
and confidence; all in a positive, pressure-free environment.
What parents can expect:
- Age-appropriate activities focused on fun and movement
- Introduction to kicking, stopping, and running with the ball
- Small groups with constant coach guidance
- No games, no scores, no pressure. Just fun and confidence building
- Parent-friendly format designed for
first-time players
This clinic is the perfect first step into organized sports and helps children build comfort, confidence, and excitement around soccer.

Mini Ballers
Our Pre-K & Kindergarten division for the 4 & 5 year olds. This is designed as a fun, pressure-free introduction to soccer.
Following U.S. youth soccer guidelines, sessions focus on movement, coordination, ball familiarity, and listening skills; NOT standings or scores.
Players learn through games, imagination, and repetition while developing confidence and a love for being active.
What parents can expect:
- Small-sided play (3v3/4v4 style activities)
- No goalkeepers
- Emphasis on fun, creativity & confidence
- Age-appropriate coaching and positive reinforcement
Strikers
The Strikers Division (6-8 yr olds) builds the technical foundation every young soccer player needs. In line with U.S. Soccer’s small-sided standards, players learn proper dribbling, passing, shooting, spacing, and teamwork through guided play. Matches remain development-focused, ensuring every child gets plenty of touches on the ball.
What parents can expect:
- Small-sided games (4v4)
- Equal playing time
- Introduction to basic rules and positions
- Focus on skill growth over results
- Early stages of confidence, sportsmanship and teamwork

Titans
The Titans Division (9 & 10 yr olds) introduces more structured play while maintaining a development-first approach.
Players begin refining technique, learning decision-making, and understanding team shape; all while continuing to get meaningful touches and equal opportunities on the field.
What parents can expect:
- Small-sided format (7v7)
- Introduction of goalkeepers
- Expanded rules and tactical awareness
- Emphasis on confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork

Premier
Premier Division (11 & 12 yr olds) bridges the gap between youth development and competitive play.
Following U.S. Soccer
age-appropriate standards, players learn advanced positioning, game strategy, and responsibility—without losing sight of enjoyment and player well-being. This division prepares athletes for middle school, travel, and club soccer environments.
What parents can expect:
- Small-sided format (9v9)
- Full introduction to game strategy and team roles
- Focus on leadership, accountability, and respect
- Continued priority on development, safety, and fair play
